Warranty Policy

The TAKANE watch is manufactured with advanced precision electronics technology. A quality control system with strict inspection procedures has been employed. However, should the TAKANE watch require repair or service, the agent will provide the necessary service base on the warranty under normal use as seen at the discretion of our service department, without charge. This watch is guaranteed against any manufacturing defects for one year from the date of purchase. 

Repair or service charges are to be borne by the customer even within the warranty period, if: 

  1. The registered warranty card has been altered in anyway whatsoever.
  2. The warranty certificate is not presented when requesting for service or repair.
  3. The watch had been damaged by improper, rough and careless handling, repair done by unauthorised personnel or vital parts damaged or removed. 
  4. The watch strap, casing, buttons, hands, glass are scratched, damaged, worn or corroded by normal wear and tear.
  5. When the irreparable model is replaced, we have the rights to substitute a similar model of similar priced and to retrieve back the warranty card.
